Educational field visit to Manohar International Airport, Mopa, and the Aviation Skill Development Centre (ASDC)

 Students of Classes IX and X of Dayanand High School, Chorao, participated in an educational field visit to Manohar International Airport, Mopa, and the Aviation Skill Development Centre (ASDC) on 21 August 2026.

At ASDC, the students were shown a video introducing the GMR Group and were briefed about the various aviation-related courses and skill development programmes offered at the centre. The session helped students understand the different career opportunities available in the aviation sector.

The students were then taken to Mopa Airport, where they were given an overview of airport operations. They observed the arrival and departure procedures, learned about the check-in process, and were briefed on various airport security and safety measures. An explanation was also given about the bomb disposal machine and its importance in maintaining airport security.

   

    

 

The field visit was informative and provided the students with valuable practical exposure to aviation, airport operations, security, and career opportunities in the aviation industry.
